Our client is a leading Fixed and Rotary Wing Aviation Services company providing turnkey charter solutions in the Oceania region supporting a wide base of operations from Oil and Gas to Mining activities. They are currently looking for Touring Pilots (Bell 407) who will take on various types of flying operations in accordance with both regulatory and organizational requirements. This is a position on rotation (28/28 or 42/42) with company housing, flights, transport, meals, and laundry, provided at base. Job Responsibilities Conduct safe flying operations to support client operations throughout while adhering to relevant protocols and standards. Carry out onshore mountain operations VFR and offshore IFR as per mission requirements. Work as part of a team on projects in field operations and to ensure the tasks are delivered accordingly. Operate in tropical mountain environments, high density altitudes, and off-field operations. Safely operate vertical reference with a longline.   Job Requirements Minimum 2,500 hours TT. Demonstrated experience on vertical reference. Good command in English written and verbal communication. Must hold existing ATPL (H) or CPL (H). Must be accident free in the last three years, operating to a high safety culture. Preference will be given to candidates who have previously flown/are flying in similar difficult environments in Oceania. Their multi-physics solutions encompass gravity, magnetic, electromagnetic, and radiometric surveys through an advanced range of airborne, fixed-wing systems.  Job Description  The Survey Pilot works as part of an autonomous team in a highly dynamic environment. Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the Survey Pilot is responsible for the safe and effective operation of Company aircraft on low-level Geophysical Survey activities. All activities are undertaken in accordance with data quality, project, safety, and procedural requirements whilst taking an active role in promoting the safe and efficient functioning of survey projects.  Requirements  Self-motivated, ability to work independently with minimal supervision  Disciplined, able to maintain high levels of focus  Ability to work effectively within a team environment spanning multiple disciplines.  Successful candidates must have a valid passport and willing to undertake field deployments of varying duration.  Qualifications  Commercial Pilot Licence (will need to obtain South African licence validation) 1,000 hours total flight time 750 hours in command Minimum 300 hours on AT502 (or AT802 / Thrush 510 / DC-3) No accident history in preceding 5 years Willing to undertake field rotations of up to 8 weeks duration Previous survey experience preferred Register now and apply to be added to our priority list to contact once recruitment commences!
