The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine jet airliner which can accommodate up to 525 passengers in a three-class configuration or up to 850 in a single Economy class configuration. The A380-800's cabin is 40% larger than the next largest airliner, the Boeing 747-8 and has a range of 8,500 nautical miles.
The massive airliner commenced commercial service in 2007 and today over 200 aircraft are in service, operating between some of the world’s busiest and highest yielding city pairs. There is no other aircraft in the world like it and no other travelling experience comes close. The A380 is a modern icon that has flown over 400,000 revenue flights carrying over 170 million passengers. This includes more than 300 commercial flights per day, which take off or land around the world every two minutes.
