Our client is a leading domestic operator providing both passenger and charter solutions in Papua New Guinea.
They are currently looking for Composite Engineer who will be responsible for certifying aircraft and performing component composite repairs in full compliance with MOE procedures, regulatory standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
This is a full-time position with flight tickets provided back home yearly - accommodation, transport, meals, provided at base.
Job Responsibilities

Promote a strong safety culture and prioritize safety in all decision-making.

Supervise, coordinate, and prepare composite maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of assigned work.

Assess composite damage and provide detailed reports to Technical Services when repairs fall outside published limits.

Lead, mentor, and guide unlicensed personnel to ensure high standards of workmanship and regulatory compliance.

Proactively communicate operational, safety, or scheduling issues to the Base Maintenance Manager and ensure required tools and consumables are available for composite repairs.
Job Requirements

Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in the aviation industry

Relevant experience in aircraft composite repair.
