Asia Pilot Jobs Market Outlook

Rishworth Aviation partners with a range if airlines Asia Pacific region. The biggest driver of growth in this region will be passenger demand from 2015 to 2035, with more than half of new air traffic coming from here. Asia Pacific growth will be led by China - which will replace the US as the world’s largest aviation market. China will be followed closely by India, Indonesia and Japan. By 2035, it is estimated that an additional 1.8 billion annual passengers will be transported in Asia Pacific, for an overall market size of 3.1 billion. The region is estimated to grow by 4.7% annually.

Along with passenger growth, Pilot job growth will also expand to match demand for increased airline services. Boeing expects the Asia Pacific region to require the addition of at least 260,000 new Pilot jobs by 2037. China is again forecast to lead this growth, requiring half of the anticipated new Pilots, followed by Southeast Asia and South Asia.
