The biggest driver of growth in this region will be passenger demand from 2015 to 2035, with more than half of new air traffic coming from here. Asia Pacific growth will be led by China - which will replace the US as the world’s largest aviation market. China will be followed closely by India, Indonesia and Japan. By 2035, it is estimated that an additional 1.8 billion annual passengers will be transported in Asia Pacific, for an overall market size of 3.1 billion. The region is estimated to grow by 4.7% annually.
