The biggest driver of growth in this region will be passenger demand from 2015 to 2035, with more than half of new air traffic coming from here. Asia Pacific growth will be led by China - which will replace the US as the world’s largest aviation market. China will be followed closely by India, Indonesia and Japan. By 2035, it is estimated that an additional 1.8 billion annual passengers will be transported in Asia Pacific, for an overall market size of 3.1 billion. The region is estimated to grow by 4.7% annually.

B1/B2 Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Our client is a renowned, world leading MRO in Asia handling both Line and Base maintenance work. They are currently looking for several B1/B2 Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, whom will be part of a dynamic and diverse team. Successful incumbents will be provided visas, relocation assistance, group medical/insurance, and a comprehensive remuneration package. Job Responsibilities Be responsible for the handling of aircraft Line/Base maintenance checks. This includes the identification and rectification of problems and defects. Thoroughly analyze and interpret the relevant technical procedures, schematic engineering diagrams, manuals and publications Collaborate and work with various departments to accomplish maintenance tasks to meet TAT requirements. Manage staff performance and attendance control, and provide skills training to ensure service quality levels are up to standard and all works are carried out IAW Manual and SOP’s. Process Engineer

Our client is a renowned Engine MRO in Malaysia with a production line specializing on the maintenance and overhaul of engine parts.  They are currently looking for a Process Engineer, whom will be reporting to the Section Manager. Job Responsibilities Responsible for process engineering aspects of any related repair component within the product portfolio and support to New Product Introduction (NPI) programs Introduce and implement new repair processes into the production lines. Create and support Technical Work Instruction (TWI) and other related technical documents Perform and supervise commissioning and acceptance of equipment and machinery Develop detailed process procedures and/or compile the documentation for the individual repair process and efficiently implement the processes Optimize existing repair procedures to improve in-process rejection and rework Support, perform (if required) and supervise First Article Inspections (FAI) activities Evaluate and to update applicable changes from revised Original Engine Manufacturer (OEM) Manual and to incorporate it into internal work instruction e.g. Process Instructions, etc Support Production in improving the effectiveness of production lines with regards to processes in identifying the root cause and provide its solutions to the problems Liaise with Maintenance and Product Engineering team to develop and modify tools as and when necessary to improve a specific process Carry out a continuous improvement to the effectiveness of processes with regards to consumable materials Communicate with OEM on all engineering topics, vendors with regards to any engineering task or component repair, shareholders and respective Engineers Comply and support Environmental Health & Safety policies, rules and regulations at all times Perform other technical tasks as assigned by the superior or any other person as designated. Senior Production Manager

Our client is a renowned Engine MRO in Malaysia with a production line specializing on the maintenance and overhaul of engine parts.  They are currently looking for a Senior Production Manager, whom will be directly responsible to the Chief Operating Officer and is in-charge of the first half of the production line. This position will be based in Malaysia, and relocation will be required. Visas will be provided for the right candidates. Job Responsibilities Take accountability for the first half of the production line (Cleaning, Inspection, HPC) while working closely with the other Senior Production Manager managing the other half of the line. Oversee the entire production process and coordinate all activities to ensure adequate resources are on hand. Accountable to estimate, plan and maintain production costs and prepare budgets to ensure workflow meets required deadlines. Heavily focused on continuous improvement and change management whilst always adhering to the quality control measures in place. Manage the complete scope of overhaul and repair work which includes setting appropriate goals and KPI for production in accordance with company strategic plan. Plan and prepare investment and operation planning and/or budgets for production department in cooperation with Engineering. Optimize repair and process procedures in cooperation with Engineering in accordance with approved maintenance data. Strategic and technological development of the department under consideration of technological industry standard. Mentor and guide the employees within the organization to operate to the highest standard. Job Requirements Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Production Engineering with at least 10 years working experience in an aerospace MRO production line in which at least 5 years consists of operational leadership experience. Proven skill and knowledge of implementation new or extended capacities of automation machinery with extended knowledge on Aircraft Engine Components / Parts Repair based on approved maintenance data. Additional knowledge on Preventive maintenance, Predictive Maintenance (condition monitoring) and TPM (Total Productivity Maintenance), Non-Destructive Testing processes (preferably related to aircraft engine components/parts repair) is necessary for the role as well. Good knowledge in standard repair processes i.e. Surface treatment, Pulse and TIG welding, Metal spray, shot peening, heat treatment and adaptive processing welding / milling Extended knowledge in Aircraft Engine OEM Manual procedures.
