BK117 LAMEs

Our client is a helicopter company with operations in Oceania, specialising in oil and gas support, mining industry, precision construction, seismic and general charter operations. They currently require a self-motivated LAME who can manage their workload to meet deadlines with good analytical and problem-solving skills. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer and working within the 145 Engineering Department, the successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of maintenance on BK117’s and LTS101 engines. The successful candidate will also be tasked on Bell 407 and Bell 206L, HTS 900 and RR250 Series Engines including C47 with FADEC when needed. This is a touring position with company housing and transport provided at base. Tours are typically up to 40 days long with equal days off. Providing cover at remote field sites will be required as and when required. A competitive and well-rounded remuneration package will be offered to successful candidates who meet the criteria below. The primary tasks will include but are not limited to: Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the helicopter fleet and their components/role equipment working within the company procedures and CAA regulations. Being involved in the company safety management system and continuous improvement programs. Embraer 135 & 145 LAME Type Training Instructor

Our client offers a comprehensive range of aircraft services for business and leisure purposes including Embraer jet charters, AMO, MTO, CAMO & ground handling services.  An approved Part 147 Training Organization, they now have a requirement for an experienced AME Instructor to deliver a B1/B2 type training course to EMB135/145 engineers in Asia.  This is a short-term assignment, expected to be approximately seven weeks duration. If you are also qualified to conduct Embraer 170/190 type training, there may be an opportunity to extend your assignment and also conduct this training.  REQUIRED - Qualifications & Experience: Must have conducted Level III B1 & B2 type trainings on Embraer 135/145 aircraft in the last 2 years and have undergone update training in the last 18 months. Handling of various mandatory documents according to regulatory requirements. Close communication between different departments and organizations inside and outside of SAS CAMO. Be part of developing and optimizing procedures related to LMCC function and MOC department in general. Handling and take action of various operational tasks related to SAS fleet and secure continued safe and reliable operation. Experience and education: Aircraft Technician/engineering degree (EASA Part-66 with type rating on SAS operating aircraft types). Good knowledge of civil aviation regulation EASA Part 145 and Part M.  Computer proficiency in general. Experience in Maintenance Management Information system (AMOS specifically preferable) with supporting follow-up systems. Good understanding of technical operation procedures and manuals.
