We have an exciting opportunity for a Crewing Operations Director to be based in Southeast Asia. With overall responsibility for all aspects of crew scheduling this is an excellent opportunity to showcase your leadership and knowledge as you led a growing team of crewing specialists.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the change to crew resource and commercial schedules, with focus on operational resilience.
• Oversee the crew lifestyle and stability as it relates to crew operational delivery.
• Direct and oversee the overall administrative management and operational control of activities of the Crew Control team
• Ensure the consistent compliance of the department’s work output to current relevant regulations and statutory requirements as well as company
procedures and policies.
• Establish and review key strategic priorities for crew operations.
• Coordinate with other departments/section heads or representatives; both internal and external.
• Lead the department’s personnel in documenting the process, policies, and procedures.
• Authorized to make decisions regarding quality risk tolerability associated with low and minimal risks in operations.
• Plan and manage the technical knowledge department and career advancement of its personnel, and the continuous upgrading of its relevant
equipment (Hardware & Software) as required.
• Define professional objectives in line with the periodic appraisal of personnel.
• Ensure the completion and timely release of periodic reportsto relevant divisions.
• Review and approve crew routes, crew rosters, rosters, reports, and other documents associated with the department’s responsibility
EDUCATION & TRAINING
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in a numerate and analytic subject such as Economics, Math, Accountancy, etc.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
• Must have minimum 7 years' experience in Crew Scheduling
• Must have minimum 5 years' experience in a Managerial position within a medium to large size airline.
• Must have experience in Budget control and preparation.
• Should have experience in Crew Rostering, Aircrew Training Planning, Crew Control, Crew Records and Compliance, and Crew Hotel and Transport
Accommodation.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Calculating crew resource requirements.
• Strategy formulation, process improvement reviews and project management.
• Excellent working relationship with airline planning and airline operations departments.
• Must have the ability to manage multiple assignments and is stress resistant.
• Must be comfortable operating in an agile and fast paced environment with multiple demands.
