Rishworth is currently supporting our client, a leading LCC in Asia with their latest project supporting homecoming talent across several departments.
They are currently looking for a Defect Analyst Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical services support as listed in the responsibilities below.
This is a full-time position based in the headquarters with a lucrative joining bonus and mobility assistance for the incumbent and dependents.
Job Responsibilities
- Track maintenance trends through logs and reports and assist in real-time troubleshooting and rectification of aircraft defects during ramp visits.
- Work closely with other Defect Analyst Engineers or Deferred Defect Engineers to issue proper troubleshooting instructions to maintenance providers based on field assessments.
- Randomly inspect the ramp for correctness of OPEN MELs, CDLs, ADDs, and CFIs against recorded snags.
- Formulate strategies for addressing complex and recurring issues and act as DAE/DDE when needed.
- Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS), report hazards/incidents, follow company rules, escalate issues, and perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, related engineering field, or Aircraft Maintenance Technology (AMT) course.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Technical Services Engineer in Line and Base Maintenance Engineering or 10–15 years of experience as a Certifying Engineer.
- Familiarity with typical fleet technical management systems such as AIMS, AMOS, etc.
- Proficient in using Airbus troubleshooting systems, particularly AIRMAN.
- Completed commercial aircraft technical training on A320/A330 or ATRs.
