Head of Route Revenue – Indonesia

Our client is a leading LCC with extensive international and domestic operations across multiple bases in Asia. 

They are currently looking for an analytical and data-driven individual to take on the role as Head of Route Revenue – Indonesia who will be responsible for driving revenue optimization strategies, developing pricing models, managing inventory, and ensuring profitability through data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate must be a team leader that is an analytical thinker with strong decision-making skills that are data driven, to ensure the airline maintains a competitive position in the market.

This position will require relocation to be on-site in their HQ and will be on expatriate terms.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead revenue strategy development, optimizing pricing based on market demand, competition, and seasonality.
  • Monitor and analyze route revenue performance, providing insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Utilize Revenue Management Systems (RMS) for dynamic pricing and inventory management.
  • Forecast revenue trends and prepare reports on performance, market conditions, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Network, and Finance teams to align revenue strategies with business goals.
  • Continuously assess and improve revenue management processes, implementing new strategies and technologies.
  • Mentor and lead Managers and Analysts, ensuring revenue targets are met through effective leadership.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related fields; Master’s degree or certification in Revenue Management is a plus.
  • Minimum 8+ years in Revenue Management, Pricing, Airline Strategy, or related fields, with 2+ years in a managerial role. Experience in airlines, hotels, online travel agencies, or related industries preferred.
  • Proficiency in RMS, Excel, Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and data analysis tools (Navitaire PSS, Google BigQuery a strong advantage).
  • Strong ability to interpret data, assess customer segmentation, and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience presenting complex data to senior leadership.
