Our client is a leading domestic operator providing both passenger and charter solutions in Papua New Guinea.
They are currently looking for a Maintenance Watch Engineer who will be responsible for the coordination of AOG aircraft recovery through clear communication with MRO, CAMG, Flight Operations and Operations departments
This is a full-time position with accommodation, flights, and transport, provided at base.
Job Responsibilities
- Liaising with the Continuing Airworthiness Management Group, MRO, Flight Operations and Ground Operations in regard to aircraft availability.
- Being the pivot point for the coordination of AOG aircraft recovery with the MRO, CAMG and Operations departments.
- Liaising with the Part 119 Manager Continuing Airworthiness regarding the application of MEL repair intervals and the use of special flight permits.
- Liaising with the relevant Technical Service Engineers to obtain defect history and troubleshooting information with aircraft defect rectification
- Take part in investigations where technical expertise and input are required in relation to Operational occurrences
Job Requirements
- Has extensive engineering experience in a senior engineering role in aviation with aircraft acquisition experience.
- The ability to sense and maintain a high level of customer service and industry best practice standards.
