Job Responsibilities
- Oversee CAMO functions, ensuring avionics system modifications and maintenance improve dispatch reliability and meet airworthiness requirements.
- Provide leadership to Avionics Supervisors and Engineers, optimizing efficiency and minimizing errors.
- Establish rectification plans for unresolved technical issues affecting reliability targets and KPIs.
- Supervise the review and implementation of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and regulatory standards.
- Approve and oversee aircraft software and database updates.
- Manage the Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) approval for individual aircraft.
- Coordinate project plans for new aircraft equipment, services, regulatory mandates, and operational enhancements, including selection of new avionics components.
- Review and supervise execution of aircraft/component modification plans related to avionics.
- Develop and implement departmental procedures, such as MCM/MEH revisions relevant to avionics.
- Oversee documentation, reporting, and investigation of concerns or incidents under the group’s SMS policy.
- Ensure continuous skill development of team members through training, coaching, and alignment with company vision, mission, and core values.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Avionics or a related field.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant airline experience.
- Preferably holds an ICAO AMEL or A&P licence.
- Completed Type Rating Course (B1+B2) for Airbus A320/A330 or ATR aircraft.
- Strong working knowledge of current Avionics Engineering requirements.
