Rishworth is currently supporting our client, a leading LCC in Asia with their latest project supporting homecoming talent across several departments.

They are currently looking for a Cabin Interiors Manager who will be responsible for all related technical services & engineering functions listed in the responsibilities below.

This is a full-time position based in the headquarters with a lucrative joining bonus and mobility assistance for the incumbent and dependents.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cabin interior maintenance activities, ensuring efficient defect management, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
  • Coordinate modification projects, including cabin refurbishments, layout changes, and cabin equipment installations to meet operational, regulatory, and safety requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and relevant EASA Part 21J standards, including approval of cabin interior modifications and repairs.
  • Evaluate engineering documentation, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives for incorporation into the airline's maintenance program.
  • Collaborate with OEMs, maintenance providers, lessors, and regulatory authorities to optimize cabin maintenance and modification strategies.
  • Lead cabin interior projects, ensuring timely execution and cost-effectiveness, including negotiations with vendors and MRO providers.
  • Maintain compliance with the group’s Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring all cabin interior maintenance and modifications meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Job Requirements
  • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or any related engineering discipline
  • Must be a Licenced Aeronautical Engineer (ICAO/A&P).
  • Must have more than six (6) years of progressive experience in the airline or aviation engineering industry, particularly in aircraft systems, components, and maintenance program development.
  • Must have a strong background in evaluating technical publications, regulatory directives, and manufacturer recommendations for aircraft system modifications and compliance.
  • Must have proven experience in project management, technical coordination with OEMs and regulatory agencies, and implementation of system upgrades or improvements.
  • Must be adept at analyzing complex aircraft malfunctions, proposing engineering solutions, and supporting the continuous development of maintenance strategies.
