Our client is a leading domestic operator providing both passenger and charter solutions in Papua New Guinea.
They are currently looking for Manager Safety & Quality MRO who will be responsible for supporting the management team in implementing the safety management plan, prioritizing safety in decision-making, fosters positive safety culture through personal example, and aligns daily activities with corporate safety and quality objectives.
This is a full-time position with 4 flight tickets provided back home yearly - accommodation, transport, meals, provided at base.
Job Responsibilities

Administer and coordinate safety and quality activities within the MRO division, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies.

Serve as the main contact for safety and quality issues, conducting investigations and responding to audit findings.

Support hazard identification and risk management processes, assisting in reviews and the development of the Hazard & Risk Register.

Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, policies, and regulations, including managing external audits and subcontractor assessments.

Lead safety and quality teams within MRO, providing daily direction to safety investigators and quality inspectors.

Ensure consistent application of corporate safety and quality management systems, escalating unresolved issues directly to the CEO if needed.
Job Requirements

Strong background in Air Transport Operations and Aircraft Safety

In-depth experience in safety and technical roles, with a focus on compliance matters.
