Our client is a leading domestic operator providing both passenger and charter solutions in Papua New Guinea.
They are currently looking for MRO Safety Investigator & Trainer who will be responsible for investigating safety occurrences and safety related issues within the Maintenance & Repair Organization and providing assistance on creating training modules, and to deliver MRO Training.
This is a full-time position with 4 flight tickets provided back home yearly - accommodation, transport, meals, provided at base.
Job Responsibilities

Investigate safety occurrences within the MRO, identifying root causes, and advising on corrective and preventive actions.

Assist the Manager of Safety & Quality MRO by drafting responses to audit findings and ensuring timely completion of corrective actions.
- Perform regular hazard surveys, maintain a hazard register, and monitor mitigation of HSE hazards.

Assist in creating and delivering various training modules, including induction and specialized equipment training for MRO staff.

Act as a focal point for safety communication, promoting a strong safety culture, and providing advice on safety management processes.
- Liaise with the Safety & Quality Management Group, ensuring adherence to MRO regulations, HSE policies, and statutory safety requirements.
Job Requirements

3 – 5 years working experience in a similar role.

Competence in MS Excel and Word.
