NDT Specialist

Our client is a leading domestic operator providing both passenger and charter solutions in Papua New Guinea.

They are currently looking for NDT Specialist who will be responsible for performing and certifying Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections on airframes and aircraft components in accordance with applicable manuals and regulatory requirements.

This is a full-time position with accommodation, flights, and transport, provided at base.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct On-Wing and On-Shop NDT inspections on aircraft components, including wheels, brakes, engines, and other parts.

  • Ensure compliance with EO, RD, AD, and SB requirements per manufacturer manuals.

  • Submit detailed NDT inspection reports and maintain complete records.

  • Perform quality assurance checks and maintain calibration of all NDT equipment.

  • Assist with monthly NDT equipment inventory and ensure proper maintenance.

  • Observe safety precautions, maintain housekeeping, and perform other assigned duties.

 

Job Requirements

  • At least 4 years in hands on NDT role in the aviation industry
  • At least 6 years in hands on NDT with working experience at site in past 6 months

  • ASNT/PCN/AINDT level II certification in UT, PT, FP and RT disciplines.
