Our client is a leading domestic operator providing both passenger and charter solutions in Papua New Guinea.
They are currently looking for a Network Operations Manager who will be responsible for day-to-day operations and maintaining and minimizing disruptions of the daily schedule.
This is a full-time position with accommodation, flights, and transport, provided at base.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate conditions and NOTAMS and potential impact on scheduled operations
- Seek government or regulatory approval for ADHOC operations to privately controlled ports
- Formulate recovery plans for IROP events with safety and cost as primary considerations
- Oversee and authorize schedule adjustments and promulgate to all concerned
- Liaise with key operational areas and ensure they are ready and prepared for operations
- Forwarding appropriate operational messages to relevant parties
- Monitor the Maintenance Plan and MELs (in Skynet) ensuring that aircraft are available for scheduled maintenance
- Monitor the Aircraft Fleet Status publication ensuring aircraft are available for maintenance and operations.
Job Requirements
- Should have advanced technical skills and Airline Operational service delivery experience
- Comply with policy and procedures in the Operations Manual
- Comply with the provisions of the policies contained in the Corporate Management
