Our client is a leading domestic operator providing both passenger and charter solutions in Papua New Guinea.

They are currently looking for Production Planning Officer who will be responsible for coordinating and managing maintenance documentation for aircraft checks, ensuring alignment with planning, maintenance, technical services, and technical materials requirements.

This is a full-time position with flight tickets provided back home yearly - accommodation, transport, meals, provided at base.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinating and manage maintenance documentation and work packages for aircraft checks.
Reviewing work packs summary sheets, track outstanding tasks, MELs, and hold items, and liaise with CAMG Planning as required.
Coordinating with Technical Materials, Workshops, and Planning to ensure parts, tooling, and components are available prior to maintenance events.
Ensuring accurate technical log entries, component change records, and proper tagging documentation.
Monitoring maintenance progress and communicate status, delays, or overtime requirements to the Check Coordinator.

Job Requirements

Must be strong planning, organizational, and computer skills, with attention to detail.
Significant technical qualifications with knowledge of line/hangar aircraft maintenance and planning.
Must be able to cross train junior staff.
Excellent communication skills in fluent English.
