Our client is a leading domestic operator providing both passenger and charter solutions in Papua New Guinea.
They are currently looking for a Rotable Officer who will be responsible for the efficient operation and continued development of the company’s Rotable component management on our client's aircraft fleet.
This is a position on a 6 weeks on/ 2 weeks off rotation with accommodation, flights, transport, meals, provided at base.
- Liaise with members of the CAMG (Continuous Airworthiness Management Group) to digitally track component history for the purpose of maintaining the serviceability of the core unit at all times
- The registering of components including unserviceable items in the aircraft maintenance software
- Responsible for component contracts that the company may enter into.
- Responsible for ordering and ensuring the parts in the maintenance forecast are managed end to end from quotation to receipt and received two months in advance for scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Manage service providers (OEM and repair facilities) to ensure the company is deriving value for money with respect to, service levels, component costs.
- Review and critique repair facility agreements at regular intervals with respect to service and price.
- Compile monthly reports on the rotables movement status and vendor performance status to management
- Prepare monthly reports for actual and projected rotables components either positioned (or soon to be) at repair facilities and update management turnaround status for the components.
Job Requirements
- 5 Years ‘working with aviation industries engineering background and rotable part procurement.
- Aviation experience; and experience with IAS (Integrated Aviation Software) & RAAS (Aviation Maintenance Software)
- Extensive knowledge in computer inventory systems.
