Stores Manager

Our client is a leading domestic operator providing both passenger and charter solutions in Papua New Guinea.

They are currently looking for Workshop Manager who will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Supplies section within the MRO department, ensuring timely delivery of aircraft spares.

This is a full-time position with 4 flight tickets provided back home yearly - accommodation, transport, meals, provided at base.
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Train and develop staff on proper purchasing procedures using inventory programs like IAS and CAMP.

  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors on pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, and monitor their performance to meet quality standards.

  • Manage inventory, including receipts, issuance, quarantine, and traceability of components, to minimize shrinkage and maintain accurate stock.

  • Interface with various departments (e.g., Rotable Planning, Senior Planners) to align procurement with maintenance forecasts and optimize inventory management.

  • Provide management with strategic insights, data analysis, and support on critical items and AOG situation.

 

Job Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in computer inventory systems (IAS, CAMP)

  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Valid driver's license
