Our client is a leading domestic operator providing both passenger and charter solutions in Papua New Guinea.

They are currently looking for a Technical Services Engineer - Powerplant who will be responsible for engine management including those engines off wing on the PW100 turboprop engines

This is a position is a full-time position with accommodation, flights, and transport, provided at base.

Job Responsibilities
  • Liaise with members of the CAMG (Continuous Airworthiness Management Group) to digitally track component history for the purpose of maintaining the serviceability of the core unit at all times to ensure operational continuance for the fleet.
  • Establishment of LLPs within the aircraft maintenance software system, maintaining engine logbooks, AD and SB compliance.
  • Manage service providers and engine contracts to ensure the company is deriving value for money with respect to, service levels, component costs, PBH agreements
  • Auditing the engine forecast to ensure accuracy in terms of time and cost, collaborate with the finance team to ensure visibility into cost events is communicated through structured reporting.
  • Management of all repair orders, exchange orders and other rotable component paperwork for powerplant management.
  • Generate and maintain, diagnose and provide rectification recommendations of reliability reports on a monthly basis with the reliability team.
  • ECTM data loading and trend analysis report.
  • Review and compile power plant borescope reports and provide technical back up when required by maintenance work.
  • Prepare monthly reports for actual and projected rotables components either positioned (or soon to be) at repair facilities and update management turnaround status for the components.

Job Requirements
  • At least 5 years in a similar capacity in Technical Services Management.
  • Must have an AMEL or equivalent license with Engine rating for PW engines.
  • Experience with IAS (Integrated Aviation Software) & RAAS (Aviation Maintenance Software) or another reputable system.
