Rishworth is currently looking for a Workshop Technician - Battery who will assist the Battery Supervisor to accomplish aviation unit, and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on aircraft batteries.
This is a position based in Abu Dhabi which requires relocation. Mobility assistance will be provided for successful incumbents. Education sponsorship, medical and insurance will be covered along as well with attractive employee benefits.
Job Responsibilities
- Disassembles and replaces defective cell(s) and service aircraft nicad (Nicad), sealed Lead Acid Batteries (SLAB) and any other battery types assigned according to applicable manuals and directives.
- Assists in troubleshooting of aircraft batteries and related components.
- Requests and manage ions aircraft batteries parts and maintains shop and bench stock for repair of the aircraft batteries and related components.
- Train host national personnel on the proper maintenance of the aircraft batteries, and related components.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 Years Must have a minimum of 5 years working with aircraft batteries.
- Completion of a formal electrical and/or battery training course from an accredited military or civilian aeronautical school.
- Knowledgeable on The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS)
