Zenith Aviation Business Development Manager

We are pleased to partner with Zenith Aviation in seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support their company’s strategic growth initiatives. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding Zenith Aviation’s presence across domestic and international aviation markets.
Working closely with Zenith Aviation’s Executive Leadership Team, the Business Development Manager will lead efforts to develop new revenue streams, strengthen industry partnerships, and position the company for sustained growth within the global aviation sector.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives to expand Zenith Aviation’s market presence and achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities across aviation markets, including partnerships, government contracts, and private sector clients.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, customers, and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate closely with Zenith Aviation’s executive leadership to negotiate and close strategic business agreements aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and new growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support the launch, marketing, and delivery of new aviation services and programs.
  • Represent Zenith Aviation at aviation industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to strengthen brand visibility and develop new relationships.
  • Develop and submit proposals in response to Federal and Commercial solicitations when required.

Qualification Requirements:
Due to U.S. government contract requirements and the need for security clearance eligibility, this position is restricted to U.S. citizens only.


Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred additional education or coursework in:
  • U.S. Government contracting
  • Market research and competitive analysis
  • Corporate finance and communications
  • International business and aviation markets
Specialized education in emerging aviation markets, digital marketing strategies, and international business is desired.
Professional Experience:
  • Proven track record of driving measurable business growth and market expansion in B2B environments
  • Strong understanding of the aviation industry (parts distribution, MRO, logistics, or highly valued aftermarket services)
  • Demonstrated success in government contracting, Federal acquisitions, or complex commercial sales cycles
  • Strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and proposal development skills

Location and Travel
This position is based at Zenith Aviation’s headquarters in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
The role requires the ability to travel domestically within the United States and internationally to support business development activities, client engagement, and industry events.
