Air Japan, who operate B767 and B787 aircraft, is seeking B767 Non-Type Rated & Type Rated First Officers and Captains. The operation is entirely crewed by expatriate Pilots, with an operating base at Narita Airport, Japan. However you won’t reside in Japan, instead you will operate in and out of Japan and commute home for ten (10) consecutive days off every month, plus two (2) travel days. Excellent pay and benefits, including generous commuting allowance, annual increases and bonus payments.
Established in 1990, Air Japan is a charter airline operating scheduled services under the All Nippon Airways (ANA) brand. Air Japan operates over 150 international passenger flights per week to destinations throughout Asia, as well as to Hawaii in the United States.
Operating from Japan:
Pilots flying with Air Japan commute home each month, but still have the opportunity to explore Narita, and the surrounding areas. The home of Japan’s main International airport, Narita is located 60km from Tokyo - close enough to experience the thrill and excitement of the bright lights and fast paced culture during your layovers.

Commercial Jet PIC time: 4,500 hours + on Jet 65,000+ kgs MTOW (Non JCAB license holders)
Commercial Jet PIC time: 3,000 hours + on Jet 50,000+ kgs MTOW (JCAB licence holders)
Valid ICAO ATPL with Command Jet Type Rating (Non JCAB licence holders)
Valid JCAB ATPL with Command Jet Type Rating (JCAB licence holders)

500+ commercial jet hours (Boeing or Airbus experience preferred)

Pilots flying with Air Japan, whilst not living in Japan, do still have the opportunity to explore the surrounding area of Narita and nearby Tokyo when on layovers. The home of Japan’s main International airport, Narita is surrounded by peaceful countryside and the famous Naritasan Shinshoji Temple and beautiful Naritasan Park. Enjoy walking Omotesando street with its traditional shops and fantastic places to eat - try the many varied and delicious dishes including ramen, sushi, tempura, or soba noodles. Tokyo is just 60km away, well served by public transport- rail and bus, so close enough to experience the thrill and excitement of the bright lights and fast pace on a layover.
