Captain Stover was recently presented with a Life Saving award by the Tokyo Fire Department, following his quick thinking in helping an incapacitated neighbour.
Capt. Stover found his neighbour on the ground near his apartment building, and gave artificial respiration support while waiting for an ambulance. Had it not been for Captain Stover's assistance, there may have been more serious consequences.
This is a great example of how Pilots’ training keeps passengers safe in the skies, and also in local communities on the ground.
